Meet Dr. Jaya

Dr. Jaya Vikraman commenced part-time surgical assisting in 2010 while pursuing the surgical training program and further studies. Dr. Jaya graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2008. She holds a Diploma in Surgical Anatomy from the University of Melbourne (2012) and a Graduate Diploma of Child Health from the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (2014). Dr. Jaya also has a PhD in Surgery from the University of Melbourne (2024).

 

 

Dr Jaya assists with a variety of specialties, including orthopaedic, neurosurgery, general, gynaecology and plastic surgery. Dr Jaya has a keen interest in research and has authored for The Conversation as well as RACSGP (Royal Australian College of General Practitioners) learning modules. She is committed to ongoing learning and improvement every day. When not at work she enjoys gardening and spending time with her daughters.
